Level 80, Now What?

Congratulations! You have reached Level 80! But, now what do you do? You have just begun to scratch the surface!

Unlock Campaigns

You want to unlock all the campaigns that will yield you rewards especially boons. Start with Acquisitions Incorporated, Sharandar, Dread Ring, Underdark, Elemental Evil,and Maze Engine is where I would suggest starting first. Undermountain, Icewind Dale, Chult, Omu, Storm King’s Thunder, The Cloaked Ascendancy, and Tyranny of Dragons would be the next projects after you have accumulated better quality gear and acquired boons from previous campaigns. Start those campaigns at your comfort level.

Boons

Boons can be acquired from campaign completion. They are needed to make your character stronger. In addition, they increase your item level. You want to look at your build to see which boons would be beneficial to your character. It is quite difficult to run dungeons successfully with a group without some or most of your boons.

DPS Classes [Trickster Rogue’s, Great Weapon Fighter’s, Control Wizard, Scourge Warlock, Hunter] should choose power and/or critical severity boons

Tank Classes [Oathbound Paladins, Guardian Fighters] are recommended to choose power and/or critical severity boons with the exception of choosing hit points over power in select campaigns

Healing Classes [Clerics] are recommended to choose power and/or critical severity boons with the exception of choosing healing in select campaigns

*Reminder: Campaigns such as Icewind Dale, Storm King’s Thunder, Cloaked Ascendancy, Jungles of Chult, Ravenloft are difficult campaigns to complete when you have not acquired your boons from earlier campaigns or have acquired gear, artifacts, companions, and/or mount stable that increases your character’s abilities. This same concept applies to Dungeons especially the following: Tomb of the Nine Gods, Cradle of Death Gods, Fang Breaker Island, Spellplague Cavern (Master), and Castle Ravenloft should also be attempted after majority of boons or ALL have been acquired in addition to meeting the Item Level once you have researched and understand the mechanics of each.

Effective Ways to Farm Astral Diamonds

Effective Ways to Farm Refinement

Here is a list of potential ways to earn Refinement because you are going to want to upgrade your artifacts, weapons, and/or enchantments. Upgrading artifacts means increase in stats and an increase in item level. Any unidentified items can identified using scrolls of identification. You can pick these up while campaigning and withdraw from our guild bank.

Sharandar [Equipment is almost guaranteed to drop to refine]
Dreadring [Refinement stones from rewards, bags, and artifact boxes]
Mount Bonus [Wanderer’s Fortune]
Enchantments [Quartermasters, Dragon Hoard, Fey Blessing Enchantment]
Experience Reward [Mod 15 update now grants you refinement & RAD]

Effective Ways to Farm Gold

In Mod 15, Gold is a must have. Here are some helpful tidbits to collect more gold for your character.

Collect Platinum bowls and Jeweled platinum Statuettes to stack and sell [You can find them as you play throughout your campaigns. Running Elemental Evil is a great way to find these two items]
Equip the Visanti Armlets [Once equipped, your attack has a chance to produce some extra gold.]
Equip the insignia prosperity to increase gold gain
